Meanwhile, the Republican National Committee launched an app this week for users to share their contacts with the party and encourage their friends to vote, but digital privacy was on the minds of consumers after 500 million users of Yahoo had their personal information compromised in a widespread hack that authorities suspect Russia of orchestrating.
