1.) The White House and Congressional leaders extended a government funding deadline until Dec. 21 to observe the passing of former President George H.W. Bush. President Donald Trump is threatening to shut down the government if Congress refuses his $5 billion request for a border wall.
2.) The FBI is investigating a hack of National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) emails ahead of the midterm elections. None of the emails has been released and no suspect has been identified.
3. Joe Biden announced he will decide if he will run for president in 2020 in the next two months. The 78-year old former vice president said this week he is “most qualified person in the country to be president.”
