1.) Days after President Trump’s high-stakes summit with Kim Jong Un, new satellite images appear to show North Korea has begun rebuilding a missile test site. The site has been dormant for more than a year. The CIA declined to comment on the photographs.
2.) FDA Commissioner Dr. Scott Gottlieb is leaving the agency. Gottlieb approved a record number of treatments and policies to confront opioid addiction and prevent youth e-cigarette use. President Trump tweeted about his departure, saying he has done “an absolutely terrific job.” There is no word yet who will replace him.
3.) A patient in London may be the second person in remission from HIV after receiving a bone marrow transplant. The first person cured of HIV received a similar treatment about a decade ago.
