Ariel Helwani & Dana White have a blood feud level conflict that will never change. Ariel asked Dana hard questions about the UFC and in the past usurped MAJOR fight announcements leading to the valid fury of Dana and his teams that worked tirelessly on the perfect public announcements for these events. Ariel was blackballed from the press room at UFC for a time and the dye was cast that their conflict would never end. Since then Dana used his influence to keep Ariel away from the UFC (which as an MMA journalist is a headshot). Ariel stayed the course and never let the challenges push him off the path to his goal. Now fully independent, he is the top journalist in the MMA space.
Up to this point all of the genuine career sabotage came in one direction from Dana to Ariel. After Dana White was on video slapping his wife in Mexico, Ariel was finally in a position to turn the tables. I don't have a dog in this fight (I respect both men as much as I can respect anyone). That said...everyone loves a David over Goliath story, and given the history of their conflict, Ariel's revenge brought out an emotional response in me that required a video of this magnitude so I can share it with all of you.
