1) The Modern Day Gift Of Tongues Is Not Biblical. - Here he conflates the usage of tongues as a sign with the usage of tongues for public assembly or private devotion.
2) Speaking In Tongues Is Not For Everyone. - This is a common misconception due to taking I Corinthians 12:30 out of context when Paul was discussing ministry gifts.
3) The Gift Of Tongues Is Not A Test Of Salvation Or Having The Holy Spirit. - This view is only held by a small % of fringe Pentecostals, not the whole movement.
4) Charismatic Speaking In Tongues Is Rejected By Language Experts. - Irrelevant. Believers go by God's Word.
5) Charismatic Speaking In Tongues Has Pagan Origins. - No more so than water baptism.
6. Charismatic Speaking In Tongues Shows Signs of Demonic Possession. - Not according to the Apostle Paul.
7. Satan Can Counterfeit Miracles Of God. - He can also quote scripture. Are we supposed to shun that?
8. Charismatic Speaking In Tongues Is An End Time Deception. - Give me a break!
9. Charismatic Speaking In Tongues Is A Characteristic Of End Time Babylon. - At the Tower of Babel their languages were confused. That has nothing to do with the gift of tongues which is given for a sign to unbelievers and the edification of believers.
10. The Charismatic Movement Is Helping Catholics and Protestants Unite. - That has zero to do with speaking in tongues.
