4:10Now PlayingMany discernment and apologetics ministries throw condemnation around with no discretion, not only condemning people with whom they disagree on nonessential doctrinal issues but also people who refuse to condemn the people they disagree with on those nonessentials. In a recent interview with Doreen Virtue and Melissa Dougherty, Jeff Durbin from Apologia Church in Tempe, Arizona said that he and his mentor James White are friends with Dr. Michael Brown despite their theological differences because Dr. Brown affirms all of the essential doctrines of the faith. This is the attitude that we all need to have, and I applaud Jeff Durbin for setting a good example of how we can agree to disagree and be inclusive without compromising on the fundamentals of the faith.
