I also address things Mike Winger has gotten wrong in his commentary on TPT and Brian Simmons.
My first video on TPT
The Passion Translation is a new translation (or paraphrase if you prefer) produced by Brian Simmons, a former missionary to Panama and former pastor in Connecticut. He began the project in 2011 after a visitation from the Lord, in an effort to provide a vibrant translation that communicates God's heart of love. The critics have not exactly embraced TPT but the main motivation to do this 2-part video response was the attack on Dr. Simmons' integrity by one Mike Winger. This video contains an overview of the objections to TPT and a rebuttal to Mike Winger's comments.
