YouTube Description
as posted by the channelAfter 26 years of building their lives in the U.S., worship leaders Sandra and Osnei Lima were suddenly detained by ICE agents outside their home this week at 745am as they were getting ready to go to work cleaning homes of clients who they have worked with for decades. Despite leading Bible studies, contributing to their community, and accumulating dozens of character references from friends and employers, this Brazilian family had found no path to legal status despite decades of waiting. Now separated by 3 hours and detention center walls at Stewart County in Georgia, their son Juan is trying to get the message out to the world that these two really good people, his parents, have been caught up in the Trump administration's ruthless and heartless crackdown on immigrants. Juan's story is a stark reminder that if it can happen to him and his parents, it can happen to anyone.
