Democrats control the White House and both houses of Congress, yet they seem helpless to stop the anti-abortion tide driven by Republicans in red states and the Supreme Court. In fact, Democrats have a bill codifying Roe v Wade into federal law sitting in committee with 48 co-sponsors, and had any number of opportunities in the past 50 years to make Roe the law of the land, but simply never bothered to do so.

Jimmy and American comedian Kurt Mezger discuss the reasons why Democrats have opted to let legislation codifying Roe languish.
