YouTube Description
as posted by the channelIn 2020 Joe Biden excited many young voters with a platform that included a variety of items from the progressive wish list – including marijuana legalization, a public option for health insurance, raising the minimum wage, and student debt relief. Biden reneged on all of the pledges except student debt, which he passed but the Supreme Court shot down.
But as Jimmy points out, Biden could have passed student debt relief that the Supreme Court COULDN’T have permanently shot down if he wanted to. Why didn’t he? Is it because he’s beholden to the same financial industry interests who funded his political career? And are young people going to fall for the same trick again in 2024?
