21:54Now PlayingPolice in Marion County, Kansas recently conducted a raid on the offices of a local paper, the Marion County Record, as well as the homes of the paper’s co-owner Eric Meyer and his 98-year-old mother, Joan Meyer. The raids were ostensibly conducted to investigate whether the paper had illegally obtained information about a local resident charged with a DUI but many suspect that the true motivation was to silence a media outlet that had been critical of the police force in the past.
Guest host Craig “Pasta” Jardula and Americans’ Comedian Kurt Metzger discuss how the raid may have led to Joan Meyer’s death the next day.
