as posted by the channel

Following the recent assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump, reports emerged that many unnamed individuals had “shorted” the stock of Trump Media. The suggestion from some quarters has been that at least some of these investors knew in advance that Trump would be assassinated, and as a result the price of his company’s stock would collapse.

After Trump survived the shooting, however, Trump Media’s stock price soared, leaving the shorters holding the bag and presumably losing a sizable amount of money as a consequence.
