But as a last-ditch effort to revive his candidacy, Biden says he’s calling for everyone in the nation to “bring down the temperature” on hateful, angry and violent rhetoric. And who’s a better target to blame for such rhetoric getting out of hand than the pro-Palestinian protesters who roiled college campuses in response to the assault on Gaza. Then, Biden tells Jimmy, even if he loses he can still salvage his legacy as someone who wanted to bring people together by reducing hate. Quite cynical!
