13:09Now PlayingThe biggest controversy to come out of the Paris Olympics involved women’s boxing, and in particular two boxers who many accused of being men who should not have been allowed to compete in women’s events. The two athletes, Imane Khelif from Algeria and Taiwan’s Lin Yu-Tang, both won gold medals in their respective weight classes.
Jimmy and Ms. Sey discuss why so many accused the two boxers of being “men,” the specific genetic anomaly that left them both with female reproductive organs but also XY chromosomes, and why they likely did not question their sexuality until puberty.
