Jimmy and Americans’ Comedian Kurt Metzger agree with economist Jeffrey Sachs that while previous sanctions have hurt Russia’s economy, they’ve also pushed Russia closer to countries like China and India, weakening the broader strategy. They argue that Trump’s approach could ultimately backfire by encouraging other countries to abandon the dollar, which would be calamitous for the US economy.
