Congresswoman Haley Stevens and progressive candidate Dr. Abdul El-Sayed are locked in a tight race that could help determine control of the Senate and the future of the Democratic Party. That frustration and pushback against traditional ideas of "who's electable" is a very real force within the Democratic Party right now. Ultimately, this seat is a must-win for Democrats if they have any hope of reclaiming control of the Senate. On Tuesday night, voters are going to give us some real answers about what kind of candidate—progressive versus moderate, insider versus outsider—they believe can win in a battleground state. MS NOW senior Capitol Hill reporter and Way Too Early host Ali Vitali traveled to Michigan to speak with the candidates and voters, and she joins Morning Joe with what she learned.
