The interview started with Carrie painting our faces with glitter. She then went off about the 2008 election, and concluded with a true story about how President W. George Bush has a secret superpower: He can fart on command. She was even more hysterical in the off-the-record preparation for the interview, regaling me with stories about the time she dated a member of Congress and met the Kennedys. The woman was hysterical, brilliant, and will be missed.
