Dimitrios Papatsoris was born at 1770 in Soulima (Ano Dorio) Messini Greece (Peloponnese) near to Koroni. (Koroni is the city-castle from where in 1534 arberesh leaved Greece destinating to South Italy). When he was 30 years old, he became a priest. In 1821 he declared the revolution against Turks in the church (Saint Demetrios) of his village Soulima. During the greek revolution he became a general of the Hellenic forces in the region of villages, around his village, named Soulimoxwria. Soulimoxwria's region was inhabited by arvanites, fighters against Turks and Albanians. He fought bravely against Imbraim Pasha and his Egyptian-Albanian army at 1826-1827. These are our arvanites priests! Brave leaders at our fights against Albanians!
