Iran War Update: Trump lied again

On tonight’s show, I’ll be discussing the increasingly bizarre and contradictory claims coming out of the White House about a supposed Iran deal -- a deal Trump says is basically done, even though the two biggest issues of the war, Iran’s nuclear program and control of the Strait of Hormuz, still appear unresolved.

I’ll break down the latest reporting from the New York Times, Al Jazeera, Israeli media, and Iranian officials themselves, along with why even some of Trump’s biggest Republican allies are suddenly sounding the alarm over what they fear could become a massive strategic giveaway to Tehran.

I’ll also discuss the economic fallout from the conflict, including the reality that even if the Strait reopens tomorrow, global oil and shipping disruptions could take months to normalize. Plus, Trump’s strange demand that Arab states sign onto the Abraham Accords as part of the deal, the growing questions about whether Iran is actually giving up anything meaningful, and the larger strategic problem facing the White House: if Iran ends this war richer, stronger, still enriching uranium, and still controlling the Strait, then what exactly was this war for?
