Iran and Reflecting Pool Fiasco

On tonight’s show, I’ll be discussing Trump’s ever-changing story about the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool disaster -- now suddenly it’s a 350-foot gash, not 300 feet, and apparently we won’t get the “proof” until trial, which sure sounds like they don’t have any. We’ll talk about the new fencing, yet another dead duck -- this time a duckling -- Trump letting the contractors off the hook, the fact that his own vehicles drove on the pool, and his ridiculous threat to sue ABC for “false reporting,” which isn’t even a thing.

Then we’ll get into the total mess of Trump’s Iran policy: no inspectors, Iran saying no to Trump’s claims about who controls the money, confusion over a possible fee, and now Treasury giving Iran permission to sell oil sanction-free for 60 days, including Iranian crude coming into the U.S.

I’ll also talk about the historic War Powers vote in Congress, the new Reuters poll showing Americans don’t think Trump’s Iran war was worth it, and Trump’s approval dropping back to 34%.
