1:12:51Now PlayingToday (Monday, August 10) at 6:00 PM ET, I’ll be interviewing Joshua Kolb, one of the attorneys representing former Olympian David Hearn in an extraordinary case involving the Trump administration and alleged damage to the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool.
Trump himself publicly and falsely accused Hearn of “vandalizing” the Reflecting Pool, a felony. But there was a rather significant problem with that accusation: The Department of the Interior had already concluded privately that the damage was caused by a contractor’s poor installation work.
In other words, Trump and his lawyers falsely accused Hearn when they knew he was innocent.
I’ll be talking with Josh about how this happened, what the government knew and when it knew it, where the case stands now, and the latest in Hearn’s effort to clear his name and get some justice.
