Trump is Losing America 📱

On tonight’s show, we start with Donald Trump’s White House ballroom and the Supreme Court decision allowing construction to continue while the legal fight plays out. Trump’s lawyers are suddenly describing what was once very clearly a ballroom as an “impervious military complex” -- and I explain why I think that change in language is very deliberate.

Then Trump threatens the Center for American Progress with a staggering $5 billion lawsuit after it published an analysis finding that his National Guard deployment did not significantly reduce crime in Washington, DC. From there, we turn to the Pentagon’s firing of Stars and Stripes editor in chief Erik Slavin and reporter Lara Korte amid growing concerns about government interference with the military newspaper’s editorial independence.

We also look at Trump’s attempt to lower beef prices by allowing 300,000 metric tons of ground-beef product into the country tariff-free -- which is a fascinating way of admitting that tariffs raise prices. Then we get into those extraordinary Natalie Harp letters. I’m not alleging an affair. But after reading the letters in full, I have a few questions about what exactly is going on inside this White House.

Then Ukraine: civilian deaths are rising as air-defense supplies dwindle, while the U.S. Army cancels plans to hear directly from senior Ukrainian officers with recent battlefield experience fighting Russia.

And finally, Trump’s poll numbers are brutal. He now has negative net approval in 47 states plus Washington, DC, with only Wyoming, Idaho and West Virginia still positive. The show is called Trump Is Losing America for a reason.
