Turns out, we made quite a few false-positive sightings.
That's when we see an aircraft, think it's a helicopter, but it turns out to be a fixed-wing jet aircraft.
In our zeal to get the story out, yes, we had false positive sightings.
Now, with the benefit of one year of review, and using the LVMPD BWC footage to synchronize everything, we present our most comprehensive analysis EVER.
This study looks at aircraft around the venue, and identifies the 8 Jet aircraft taking off from McCarran.
