Both Vervaeke's and Bergson's ontologies are viable. Bergson is however willing to take more risks, and gets more in return. This is true ontologically and also existentially.

As far as the meaning crisis goes, Vervaeke's position can actually facilitate holding Bergson's by giving it a viable fallback, which, after all, still points towards the cultivation of virtue and wisdom. Thus, the very real existential risk of accepting Bergson's non naturalism can be strongly mitigated.
