Cincinnati has growing momentum around a large-scale, cross-sector movement -- Hopeful Empowered Youth – to advance youth mental health and well-being, including over 10 regional funders pooling funds to advance this effort. The goal is to put conversations surrounding mental health into practice and policy – and having Jonathan Haidt engage directly with school leaders in Cincinnati has the potential to greatly accelerate the quality and pace of these efforts. Situated at the intersection of Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana, we aim to bring together community members and key stakeholders across our region to explore best practices to truly move the needle around key mental health outcomes.
