YouTube Description
as posted by the channelOur children’s brains are being rewired. Study after study has shown that the more time children spend on smartphones (especially social media), the worse the physical and emotional consequences. In their own homes, children have seen pornography and can buy illegal drugs.
These social media platforms can be accessed on ipads or Chromebooks in school which is a safeguarding issue.
Even when we remove social media from the equation, when we KNOW that screens are an inferior way to learn, why are schools requiring them for learning? How much do schools spend on these devices? What is the motive from EdTech companies for ‘good deals’?
Wouldn’t it be better spending the money on teachers?
