Next, Joseph emphasizes that increase is not for our benefit but is about fulfilling God's will on earth as it is in heaven and advancing His Kingdom. He clarifies that what God provides us is ultimately for His glory in the gospel. He encourages us to shift our mindset from being self-focused to being others-focused to help advance God's Kingdom. Interestingly, he mentions that sowing is a magnet for increase, urging us to be intentional about giving. Also, he points out that those who have no resources to give should pray to God for seeds because God gives seeds to the sower.
Joseph further encourages us to always give to receive, as God's word assures us in Proverbs 19:17 that anyone who gives lends to the Lord, and He will reward them for their actions.
