26:34Now Playing**Choose to fail in faith, rather than succeed in doubt.** Join Joseph Z in today’s insightful teaching as he discusses the need for passionate commitment to our calling, highlighting ways to discipline our senses and the importance of renewing our minds to enhance our discernment.
Joseph explains that God is the author of prophecy and often does not make everything clear to us because He wants to be pursued. He clarifies that God reveals future events to help us prepare for or respond to them. He encourages us not to be ashamed of the gospel, stating that when we boldly stand for what God has for us, He elevates us.

He emphasizes that if we want to serve the Lord, we must be irrationally passionate about our calling, as our commitment to our purpose determines whether we succeed or fail. Interestingly, he teaches that the highest form of communication with God is not through spoken words, but through what He communicates to our spirit, which our spirit instinctively recognizes.
Joseph goes on to teach that we are united with God in the spirit, where everything is perfect. However, corruption exists in our souls, minds, wills, and emotions. This is why God's word emphasizes the importance of renewing our minds and cautions against conforming to the world; instead, we should be transformed through the renewal of our minds.
He clarifies that revealed knowledge of God is information imparted from God the Father to our spirit, but this knowledge often passes through the soul, where it can be misinterpreted. He urges us to read God's word consistently, as it helps to separate the soul from the spirit, as illustrated in Hebrews 5:14.
