2:45Now PlayingWe asked young Asian American and Pacific Islanders to share their stories on how the words they would hear growing up affected them. We hope this video inspires you to not only broaden your perception of the Asian American and Pacific Islander community, but also find that the uniqueness in yourself is something to be proud of.
The film was made in partnership with APIASF (Asian & Pacific Islander American Scholarship Fund) to give voice to the thousands of unheard Asian American and Pacific Islander students who have struggled through homelessness, poverty, refugee journeys, bullying and prejudice.
