Not only did Chevron knowingly poison the water and land belonging Indigenous people of Ecuador, but, for three decades, they've been using the courts to prosecute and persecute those who hold the company accountable. Environmental and Human Rights Lawyer Steven Donziger was part of the legal team which sued Chevron and he's been kept under house arrest and now sentenced to six months in prison by a judge with ties to Chevron.
