Nils Melser () is the UN Special Rapporteur on Torture, Human Rights Chair at Geneva Academy, Professor of International Law at University of Glasgow and up until a few years ago, he was duped by anti Assange propaganda he didn't even realize he was ingesting. Melser realized that not only was Assange smeared, but was subjected to torture. In fact, he wrote a book about it, called The Trial of Julian Assange. Melser explains what changed his mind and what the persecution of Assange is actually about.
