Writer Norman Solomon joins Katie to talk about his latest book is War Made Invisible: How America Hides the Human Toll of Its Military Machine. Norman explains how the context of his book has changed given the increasing death toll in Palestine committed by Israel, as well as the continued support of Israel by Western governments and media.
Norman Solomon is executive director of the Institute for Public Accuracy and national director of RootsAction.org. His latest book is War Made Invisible: How America Hides the Human Toll of Its Military Machine. In a starred review, Kirkus Reviews called the book “a powerful, necessary indictment of efforts to disguise the human toll of American foreign policy.” The paperback edition of War Made Invisible was published this fall with a 30-page afterword about the Gaza war.
