as posted by the channelWatch the full discussion with Brie and Fouad here
Bad Faith podcast host Briahna Joy Gray, Palestinian-American musician and Katie discuss the presidential election, third parties and why the choice of Harris and Trump is so depressing. Katie warns against blaming Jill Stein if Trump wins, Brie hopes the Greens get a good turn out and Fouad says, ”recent polls showing that Trump is suddenly leading among Arab Americans shows how hopeless Arab-Americans in this country are. We really can't see any hope in Kamala. She has doubled down on saying that no policy will change from the Biden campaign, despite the fact that that's what the majority of the country wants to see. So, we're witnessing a genocide at her hands. And at the same time, we're seeing the rhetoric from Trump that is infinitely worse. And we know his record is not anti war despite what he said” He also warns that”the Democratic Party is playing into Trump's hands by adopting this Cheney strategy where we're suddenly hugging the warmongering family of our time.”
This conversation took place as we streamed and reacted to the Free and Equal Elections Presidential debate () which featured Jill Stein, Chase Oliver (Libertarian Party) and the very... interesting Randall Terry (Constitution Party).
Briahna Joy Gray is the host of the Bad Faith podcast, former politics editor and The Intercept, former press secretary for Bernie Sanders and former host at The Hill's Rising.
Fouad Dakwar is a Palestinian-American musical theater writer and the creator of the great musical Fouad of Nazareth.
