Jill Stein and Butch Ware give their FIRST interview since the Presidential election. The two react to several outlets and politicans including AOC who continuously shill for the Democratic establishment, blaming the Green party for Kamala Harris's loss. Butch calls AOC "a Nancy Pelosi clone, a corporate sellout shill for the murderous hawkish neocon establishment." Butch also criticizes the Democratic Party for being a "plantation": "they think that they have ownership of certain demographic groups as part of their voting blocks. When they say you spoiled the election because you stole these votes from us, what they're saying is black voters belong to us. Latin voters belong to us and anybody that comes for those voters is taking our voters because we own those voters. They are our property. Stay away from our slaves." And Butch lambasts corporate media, including Lawrence O'Donnell, for being "completely complicit and corrupted in manufacturing consent for this genocide and trying to play nice as though you can oppose a genocide and support a genocidaire.
Jill Stein is is a Harvard-educated doctor, a pioneering environmental health advocate, and an organizer for people, planet, and peace. She was the 2024 presidential nominee for the Green Party.
Butch Ware is a lifelong activist and educator specializing in the history of empire, colonialism, genocide and revolution. He is associate professor of History at UC Santa-Barbara. He was the 2024 vice-presidential nominee for the Green Party.
