Saif Abukeshek, a Palestinian activist based in Barcelona, has been organizing Palestinian solidarity across Europe for over 20 years. He was a lead organizer in the Global March to Gaza and currently chairs the Global Coalition Against the Occupation in Palestine and represents the Intersindical Alternativa de Catalunya (IAC). He also sits on the board of the European Trade Union Network for Justice in Palestine. Saif is also a proud father of three young children, aged two, six, and eight.
Ghada Karmi is a Palestinian-born academic, physician, author and novelist. She is the author of In Search of Fatima: A Palestinian Story, One State: The Only Democratic Future for Palestine-Israel, and most recently Murjana, a historical fiction novel based in 7th Century Baghdad. Her articles have appeared in newspapers and magazines, including The Guardian, The Nation and Journal of Palestine Studies.
