We want to offer compelling suggestions & alternatives that would benefit Winnipeg taxpayers today and tomorrow. That's why It was extremely disappointing to discovered the City doesn't supply factual information or data required to make a true assessment.
There is just "Spin" but I choose not to engage. I promised to be open with taxpayers and I will be. I will continue to work towards offering alternatives to save you money and find a better way together.
NOTE - Beginning Monday we'll provide a daily update on a newly found item in the budget that concerns any taxpayer
I believe we can put LOCAL ROAD REPAIRS back in the budget, it's what you wanted and it's your money - we need to spend on your priorities not an individuals.
