This case became one of the most debated homicide cases in Florida history. 26-year-old April Barber had driven 3 hours to celebrate her 3-year anniversary with her husband, Justin. The night started out ordinary until around 11pm when a car was flagged down in the middle of a long stretch of road next to a dark beach. April was hurt; she needed help, but paramedics couldn't do anything to save her. And for the next few years, no one knew WHO had killed her. Who was responsible for such a brutal crime? There were many suspects and one VERY determined investigator who never gave up.
