The man turned out to be an illegal immigrant with five prior arrests. He was detained but her harrowing story doesn't end there. She returned to her hotel to discover someone had stolen all of her belongings, including extremely expensive photography and video equipment. The police and hotel response has been underwhelming, leaving Victoria to navigate being a victim of crime with little recourse as America's surging crime wave continues to have disastrous consequences for the commitment of law enforcement officers and innocent victims.
