YouTube Description
as posted by the channelHi, I’m Ksenia Turkova! There is an old Soviet anecdote:
Where do you get world news from?
From the refutations of the TASS agency.
That’s exactly what happened when the documentary “Navalny” got Oscar. The next day, on the websites of the Russian media, you could find titles like “Yakut directors did not get an Oscar for their documentary.”
The main TV channels didn’t even mention Navalny in their morning news.
Later, some media stated that it was part of a conspiracy plot against Russia.
At the same time, in Ukraine, they were not happy either with the decision of the Oscar committee. But are there people in Ukraine who thought that decision was more positive than negative? And why did the anti-war Russians criticize the Navalny family?
In my livestream tonight, I will discuss it in detail and try to answer some questions.
