4:20Now PlayingIn a bill (PDF) introduced by Rep. John Culberson (R-TX) on May 28th, language specifying the defunding of ACORN was included. In another bill (PDF), put forward the next day by Rep. John Carter (R-TX), the ban is extended even further.
There's one small problem with those tenets of the two bills. ACORN doesn't exist any longer, and hasn't since it faced public slander and federal defunding (as well as the loss of major donors) in 2009, officially filing for bankruptcy on November 2, 2010.
