THIS WEEK: The Second Amendment and North Korea

It’s another edition of the Governor’s House with Larry Sharpe. This week, he gives advice to a fellow Libertarian running for office. discusses the second amendment, gets into cryptocurrency and the news from North Korea.

Segment 1

Larry discusses how we will combat corruption in New York and addresses how we should react to news of corruption. He gives advice to a fellow Libertarian candidate on how to present himself against a Republican candidate, how he is dealing with potential backstabbers in his own party.

Larry on how he wants to be perceived as a candidate: “I don’t want to be a flash of the pan candidate like Jesse Ventura.”

Segment 2

He fields questions regarding topics such as Pennsylvania election this week (particularly on the Libertarian front), the second amendment and discussing the debate over it. He talks about how he will grow small business, and how to help people living in poverty.

Larry on times to discuss the debate over the second amendment: “Just because there is tragedy, doesn’t mean we can’t talk about our rights.”

Larry comments on the school walkouts this week. He gives thoughts on the idea of Northern New York State separating from NYC/Long Island. He puts in his two cents on the rise of cryptocurrency in our country and leasing bridges.

Larry on what he believes the Libertarian party is for New York: “We are the vanguard. We are the spear.”

Larry: “Bit-Licensing has to go away.”

Segment 4

He wraps the show up with how the US should tackle the recent news from North Korea and the negotiations between North and South Korea. Reveals his philosophy on diplomacy. Defines his stance on the abortion issue. He then revisits the need to repeal the Safe Act.

Larry’s philosophy on diplomacy: “I want diplomacy to be how to make American lives better.”

Larry on why the Safe Act needs to be repealed: “The Safe Act made people who purchased weapons legally, turn into criminals overnight.”
