Join Larry Sharpe in the Governor’s House as he discusses how to combat hopelessness in New York.
Segment 1
Larry starts the show off by talking about voting apathy and feeling hopelessness in New York. He reaffirms his take on gun control, his relationship with the Assembly, Senate and the Press when he becomes Governor.
Larry on how he improves decision making: “First thing you need to do is verify data.”
Larry on his relationship with legislative (If he becomes Governor): “I’ll have the Assembly against me, the Senate against me and the Press against me.”
Segment 2
Larry describes what kind of Libertarian he is. His thoughts on Ron Paul. The state of the Libertarian party. Gives his status on when he’ll be in the Rochester region.
Larry on what kind of Libertarian he is: “I don’t really describe myself as a type of Libertarian. I let others do that.”
Larry: “We have a lot of problems in our party (Libertarian). We have a culture of problems and a culture of failure.”
Larry: “Let’s start by fixing our own party (Libertarian) first.”
Larry: “We need to become a nation of second chances. People came here for second chances.”
Segment 3
Larry answers questions regarding the second amendment’s regulation, The ineffectiveness of centralized control. Why zero tolerance policies do not work. How to fix tuition costs and the excelsior program in New York City. The problem of dealing with student loans from the flaws of the excelsior program.
Larry: “Every single successful business is run by a Libertarian. They may not know that they are Libertarian. But they are.”
Larry on what the government should be to people: “Government has to move away from being an enforcer and become more of a facilitator.”
Larry on the ineffectiveness of zero tolerance policies: “Zero Tolerance always leads to no good.”
Segment 4
Finally, Larry details the status of his campaign race for Governor of New York. Why it is a race between just him and Cuomo now. His take on statehood of the territories of the nation. Getting endorsements from big celebrity names like Elon Musk and Mark Cuban. How he would combat attacks from the hard left. His transparency of himself and how he handles attacks from both Liberals and Conservatives.
Larry on whether US territories should gain statehood: “We should try to make these territories either gain statehood or become an independent nation.”
Larry on endorsements: “I want to become more well known first before pushing for endorsements.”
Larry on how he will combat attacks from the left: “I go out of my way to be transparent.”
Larry on the difference in the attacks from Liberals and Conservatives: “Liberals are very dismissive while Conservatives are vulgar.”
