3:01Now Playing2020 Results: A Friendly Request of my Republican Friends:
My Republicans friends,
This battle is over. Not the war… this battle. You’ve lost the field of 2020.
It’s time for an orderly withdrawal. It’s time to head back to garrison, regroup and prepare for the next battle and an eventual counterattack. Throwing more into this meatgrinder will only cause more pain and eventually you will lose the support of too many civilians, too many onlookers. You risk becoming exactly what you’ve condemned.
As a Libertarian, my forces are basically partisans, in the woods and hills. But we still bear the brunt of the results of these political battles, like the rest of America.
We can see the lay of the land. It’s time to convince your General, Trump, to order the withdrawal. If he won’t, then you need to abandon him on the field. Lengthening this battle only hurts.
When you get back to garrison, it’s time for you decide if Trump is or is not the right general for your future campaigns. If he is, then help him withdraw, regroup, learn, and prepare for a second wave. If he is not, then find the right general for your future.
While the war is not over, this battle is. I know what it’s like to lose. I know what it’s like to feel like there is no recourse. These feelings don’t change reality.
Withdraw, with order, civility and honor. Anything, else is not only futile, but damaging for the future of your movement. Be the logical group that you say you are and realize what is the only logical way.
Accept the results of this battle, handle the present, and prepare for the future.
To my Democratic friends. You’ve won the day. The field is yours. Congrats. Realize that the war is not over and that your actions affect all of us. Please be magnanimous in victory, or you risk becoming what you have condemned.
