When Zohran Mamdani ran for NYC Mayor, he focused heavily on cost of living. When Kathy Hochul ran for Governor in 2022, she talked about affordability. But now the focus has shifted to pollution, congestion pricing, traffic, and lifestyle regulations — often with average New Yorkers paying the price and seeing little financial return.
Are these policies actually improving life for working families, or are they making New York even less affordable? Can we improve quality of life without crushing people with higher costs? And shouldn’t the people who benefit most — not commuters, renters, or small businesses — be the ones paying?
I’ll review a video clip, share my solutions, and take LIVE comments and questions as we explore how New York can balance livability, affordability, and fairness.
