30:07Now PlayingThis was edited from my livestream of a breakfast briefing that a committee of activists put together for Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez when she visited LA for the first time ever on August 2, 2018. She specifically asked to meet with activists and organizers on the issues that are important in LA. About 50 people representing a variety of issues were in the room. Five issues were highlighted: single payer health care, student homelessness and debt, family separation, a bill that would increase the influence of corporate money in politics and neighborhood drilling.
