YouTube Description
as posted by the channelI interview Kathy Greggs, co-founder and president of the Fayetteville Police Accountability Task Force in NC. She was recently arrested for trespassing when the Republican led NC legislature did not allow ANY public comments on the state budget. She was there as a member of the People's Budget NC, a coalition trying to get health care, housing and workers rights funded in the budget. And then two judges violated her statutory right to obtain counsel to represent her at the bond hearing. I talk with Kathy and her attorney Dawn Blagrove, Executive Director of Emancipate NC about their two organizations, the People's Budget and what their organizations are doing in the areas of racial and criminal justice.
