26:11Now PlayingHilery and Andrew Maison were arraigned May 28 on charges of open murder, two counts of torture, and two counts of first-degree child abuse. Mackenzie Maison was pronounced dead May 26 after she was found unresponsive at her home in Port Huron. Officials said the 5-year-old girl weighed 25 pounds, was malnourished, bore signs of physical abuse, had a severe infection and pneumonia when she died. Her 3-year-old sister, Makayla, weighing just 17 pounds, was removed from the home and taken to Children's Hospital of Michigan for treatment of malnourishment. An update on her condition has not been released.
