This week on Brian Ross Investigates, a blockbuster lawsuit filed by a California woman who claims she was coerced and manipulated into becoming the sex slave for the leader of religious sect that claims more than five million members in the US and around the world.

Sochil Martin filed her suit in California federal court against the Light of the World church and its leader, Naason Joaquin Garcia, who says he is the apostle of Jesus.

The young woman file her suit after an exclusive interview on Brian Ross Investigates, chronicling a “life time of manipulation and abuse of a young woman perpetrated by sexual predators and the global institution built around for the protection of those predators.”

Lawyer for the church declined to comment. It claims to have more than 100 houses of worship across the US.
