Joshua Jaynes has been reassigned until questions have been answered. The warrant requested as part of a narcotics investigation. MN Metro Council banned no-knock warrants. Breonna's Laaw bans no-knock warrants and requires the use of body cameras. Louisville PD have released the indicent report. It is a for page report, but is mostly blank. The report lists Taylor as sustaining no injuries.
The oficer involved in George Floyd's death is out on bond. Lane raised $750K bail through a crowdfunding site. It is unclear who was behind the donation website. The donation site stated, "Lane & his family appreciate the support." The websie has since been deleted. Former officer Lane is charged with aiding and abetting murder. Thomas Lane is to appear in court on June 29th. The attorney for Lane says he is a "compassionate man."
Use of inmate firefighters is commonplace in CA. This week, inmates have been used to fight a fire in Bel Air, CA. Inmatesget paid an average of $2 a day to fight fires. The state of California saves an estimated $100 million a year using inmates as firefighters. Prisoners have been used to fight fires since WWII.
