2:25Now PlayingBodycam video shows police tasing an armed woman in a Florida Walmart on Wednesday, March 30. Deputy Christopher Witte of the Marion County Sheriff's Office arrested 33-year-old Brandy McGowan for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, allegedly a knife. Deputy Witte repeatedly instructed the suspect the drop the weapon, but she ignored those commands and continued to make incoherent statements, according to reports. Deputy Witte deployed his taser at McGowan, making contact with her and successfully disarming her. Witte and Detective Thomas then detained McGowan in handcuffs. McGowan was transported to the hospital for evaluation and then to the Marion County Jail.
